What is a well-functioning Kodi IPTV that plays Canadian stations?

I am interested in playing basic cable Canadian telly stations on my Android box that has Kodi. I basically had the cable cut because our household can't support even basic cable.

I've tried many options, but they either seem to be offline or partially-working. Now, I'm not looking to run premium channels or PPVs, I just want basic cable, nothing more.

Made in Canada IPTV doesn't work, and USTVNOW just throws me back out because of a vague message. The reason I tried USTVNOW is that it features (or featured) Canadian TV.

I don't want US cable or UK; just Canadian, and preferably English. Sorry, I'm not exactly what you call a "true" Canadian.

You can run free(libre) Kodi on any machine you install libreELEC on -> https://libreelec.tv/about/

I found a massive m3u link for global iptv channels on youtube the other day (I'm running libreELEC on a raspberry pi). Some worked, some didn't. This is the guy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6OOfGO...sV76E4IMVw - Cord Cutter Dad

The stream links are grouped according to nationality, so you could edit the m3u to have only the canadian stuff - but I know you'll be drooling over the us wrestling channels

BTW You can try it out in VLCt o test which channels work and which dont, then weed out the wasted entries from the m3u before loading it in Kodi

A lot of Indian/Middle Eastern TV channels, but not a lot of Chinese or any other channel.

Still I'm overwhelming by a sheer number of channels. This $30 box can get me a lot of stuff. To think that I have to pay an arm and a leg to get some "exclusive" content by a Chinese dealer, I think I'll stick to gaining an expertise to modding my TV box to doing something useful.

Speaking of Indian/Mid-Eastern, I can do with some of their cuisine just about now.

It's not. Kodi's banned is some areas / by some ISPs. And there was the authorities demanding it to have built-in anti-piracy provisions - basically disabling it's mod/script ability.
There're legal, not copyrighted and freely distributable stuff, but most of what we the people want is exclusive content payware.

It totally depends on what you do with Kodi and how you use it.  Not everybody uses it the same way.  It can be set up in different ways but has a great advantage though when it comes to Sony protection systems, because of being designed by people who don't care about disc protection systems it means things are easier to bypass.
