Torrents uploaded to the site are not working at all

When I try to add the magnet links here, they don't display the files/folders inside them, and don't start.

Spud, what I am trying to say is that the last 4 torrents when added here don't show any files/folders, and cannot even start in UTorrent.

Meaning I can't be a seeder, since it keeps loading FOREVER these magnet links. And it doesn't go anywhere from that.

My guess is that all these last 4 (uploaded January 19) have 0 (zero) data in the magnet links/metadata to retrieve for. They must have been corrupted by TPB's servers.

Update from minutes ago:

I fixed this by deleting all the torrents and recreating them.

However once I clicked in the magnet links they didn't work again. Since I already had the .torrent files, I simply added them to UTorrent and became a seeder.

A few I had deleted kept saying "torrent already in the system", so when recreating I added one additional file.

What I think this site is experencing is technical difficulties when it comes to fetching the metadata.

What is happening is that by simply clicking in the magnet link from my torrents isn't working anymore. After a while UTorrent should list all files/folders, but this didn't happen for all last 4 (now deleted) torrents.

Maybe this was a bug in UTorrent?

Whatever it was, I am seeding the torrents now, and I expect this was a temporary issue. It's worth investigating, though.

You should offer us the .torrent files instead of only the magnet links. That way we would fix this issue when it happens. I understand TPB doesn't even host the tiny .torrent files anymore, but I heard a while that it was an option when the torrent had 0 seeders. If you want only magnet links, please investigate if they are working at all.

Second update: now users are able to download from all the new torrents. Totally fixed now.

Whatever your problem was, it wasn't a site issue. If you successfully uploaded the torrent, and the site presented a magnet link for anyone to use, then that is the end of the site's participation.

If you are the initial seeder, the metadata comes from YOU, not the site. That is how magnet links and the associated protocol work work. The site can't "corrupt" a magnet link. They can't break. If they weren't working for you, then the problem was internal to your system.
