Torrent I made won't download

I was wondering what is the difference if I put the torrent name or if I put a magnet.

Then your browser has not been configured to handle magnet links. I usually right click, copy link and then pick "open URL" from the file menu in my torrent client

I did that and it says host name can't be found while downloading url. Maybe I can try magnetizer or create magnet from torrent with uTorrent?

you can do the same in uTorrent, but you click on the blue link that says "Add torrent from URL", then paste it in the dialogue box that pops up

I went to tracker page it was blank and copied the tracker page address. I then went to uTorrent and selected open url and pasted the link in there. I hit okay and it said host can't be found while downloading the link I copied was http://magnet/?xt=urn:btih:f198384ccf6c3...2Fannounce

I am not sure if I uploaded the magnet right. I have 0 seeds and 0 peers. Can someone let me know thanks. I put it in the shared forum.

The magnet is fine, albeit very sparse (not clickable, no download title, no trackers) - I just realised that the way I posted the magnet here fucked up the link. The forum software prepends anything enclosed in URL tags with 'http://' if it's 'missing'- in effect rendering a magnet URL useless as it must start with 'magnet:?xt=urn:btih:'

I also discovered that we have a magnet tag, so this should work:

I changed the magnet but did not work so going to try changing again in shared
