https://uploadbay.org is down indeed. (With host files updated)
No ping response either. (With other online tools)

Oh.. My bad indeed.
I forgot I am using a proxy. @gnv64, if you're using a proxy, make sure your proxy has the hosts file updated. Thanks demonS.

Good morning all... Have read this thread completely I myself have used three browsers including tor and yes cleared Cookies etc etc make no difference still cannot upload. Changed host file now instead of getting "unable to connect".. I am now getting "The connection has timed out".. It just seems to hang around before that comes up. Have tried the two IP's in host one at a time obviously still no luck I also asked a few of my friends if they could upload my torrent for me but they have run into the same problem.. I also recognise a few faces here with the same problem have been trying since yesterday... I'm just wondering how many people haven't made a comment here but are having the same problem nice to know it isn't just me unfortunately... Anyway brothers and sisters, have a happy New Year and will be popping back to see if anything has changed..

If you clean the cache, you're no longer logged in.
To log in again, go to thepiratebay.se. If it's geoblocked for you use a free vpn.

If you're using a proxy/router to connect to internet, you must update the host/traffic routing in that proxy/router. If you're connecting with tor, it is impossible to connect because the traffic is first routed to relays (computers scratted across the world) and they don't have the host file updated. The other possibility is that your ISP is blocking https://uploadbay.org

You don't upload to proxies. A proxy has nothing to do with uploading to TPB.
If you can't upload is because you're doing something wrong. I can upload without any problem.
