The server at uploadbay.org can't be found

I also had problems to connect to the upload page. But modyfing/editing the hostfile seems to have helped. I had to restart my computer to make it work.

Thanks to demonS and all who helped with this.
Happy New Year!

Proxies and Tor nodes don't do DNS lookups, only the originating device does that. The domain name is resolved to an IP address and packets are addressed and sent off to that address.

Every device along the path, VPN, proxy, router, whatever, simply forwards the packets to them towards that destination IP address.

As for uploadbay.org you will have to modify your hosts file to add a record for uploadbay.org:

104.28.18.67 uploadbay.org
104.28.19.67 uploadbay.org

as suggested by moe here

For Windows 7 and Windows Vista

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories.
  2. Right-click Notepad and select Run as administrator.
  3. Click Continue on the Windows needs your permission UAC window.
  4. When Notepad opens, click File > Open.
  5. In the File name field, type C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts.
  6. Click Open.
  7. Make the necessary changes to the file by adding either 104.28.18.67 uploadbay.org or 104.28.19.67 uploadbay.org
  8. Click File > Save to save your changes.
For Windows 8

  1. Press the Windows key.
  2. Type Notepad in the search field.
  3. In the search results, right-click Notepad and select Run as administrator.
  4. In Notepad, open the following file: c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
  5. Make the necessary changes to the file by adding  either 104.28.18.67 uploadbay.org or 104.28.19.67 uploadbay.org
  6. Click File > Save to save your changes.
For Windows 10

To edit the HOSTS file we need to use a method that allows us to save the file to it’s original location, which is:
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc

     1. To do so, copy the HOSTS file to your Desktop.

     2. Open the copy from your Desktop in Notepad.
     3. Make the necessary changes to the file by adding  either 104.28.18.67 uploadbay.org or 104.28.19.67 uploadbay.org
     4. Next, copy and paste the file to its original location (C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc)
     5. You will be asked if you want to overwrite the file. Choose Replace the file in the destination.
     6. Windows will ask for Administrator permissions. Click Continue to save your changes.

Worked for me thanks
Happy New Year TPB

You have to modify your hosts file, as it says on the first page of this thread.

By the way, only fakers and porn dude can upload stuff there !
To find my uploads (and maybe good uploaders as me who can't upload in TPB), feel free to visit competitors torrent website.
I will wait 'till Pirate Bay dudes find this problemes, I'm still working on my uploader duty

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Piratebay doesn't have "competitors", but I guess you're too stupid to understand that.

Don't say that only fakers can upload or you'll have to wait more than what you think to upload here.
