I was gonna say Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt". It is one of the few songs where I truly felt his pain. Alot of songs are sad, but this one was just on another wave length. Also Mazzy Stars "Fade into you"

For you Soprano fans, this was when Tony was in his coma This was the ending of the episode Join the Club. To me, it's a song about giving up.
