It wouldn't be so bad if you hadn't of posted up such a huge picture.  I'm using Chrome and I don't think I can view the picture as there's no sliders at the bottom of the page so I can't move it across to see it properly.

Besides from what I can see, don't have a clue sorry, some guy with an Axe, looks a bit like Steven Seagals dad?

Sorry, but just no idea at all...

Agree... I tried to screenshot it and upload it as a Google image search, but the only results came back as "painting". Do you have any other screenshots you can upload? Any other details that may help?

I also Googled "Slasher movies with red masks" and came up with nothing.

Like AllieC, with your pic I got results for "lawn"... I think google images tries to depict the main part of the image to give results... It sees digging in the grass and gives results for a lawn... For some reason, visually similar images render results for sports...

Do you have any other pics or details (like when it was released?). I'm thinking with the info, maybe someone else would recognize the film and be able to recognize it. There are a few movie buffs here, so maybe you will get lucky.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

In the early 80s, when I was about 6 years old, they showed a film based on the fairy tale of Hauff “Dwarf Nose” on TV. The film was a co-production of several countries (which, alas, I don’t remember specifically). It was the most sinister movie I've ever seen in my life. I managed to watch only part of the film, having spent it in complete daze. After another scary picture, Dad switched the channel saying: “This nightmare is time to stop.” I clearly remembered the scene, after which I finished watching: it was real severed human heads that the witch took from her basket. heads that were cut off as if in a documentary film. The shock from what he saw was so great that in our family they even stopped talking about this fairy tale. I was shaken by the mere thought of watching a movie again.

Now I am almost 40 years old, and I wanted to plunge into the atmosphere of that very horror film, watch it to the end. In the era of the Internet, it seemed to me it would be easy to find this movie online. I started searching, downloading all the possible film versions of this tale. But none of them turned out to be the desired horror movie. Delving into the search, I found a community of people who are also looking for this film on the Internet and cannot find it. The search for the film is conducted mainly in the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet. Then I decided to help the search by translating the available information about the film into English, to summarize and put on site https://longnose.ga/wiki/ .
Please help to find at least the name or studio of this masterpiece.Huh

So you, and many others, are treasure-hunting a movie syndicated on TV around 1984 (give or take) that may have been released by 1970-1980-something, in one or many parts of the former Soviet Union, but for any reason is not documented anywhere.

It's probably a reserve from the "garbage/surplus" shelf, showed because the scheduled movie wasn't available. At the time, TV reels were often reused, very few programs were archived. It is very probable that not a single copy survived, at least in the USSR. If the movie was considered "harmful", it's worse.

Someone from the participants of the film should remember him: actors, director, operators, participants in extras, make-up artists, or studio employees. Why are all these people not annoyed that the masterpiece in the shooting of which they participated is unknown to the world community? Why famous studios such as BBC, etc. having movie staff in your staff know nothing about the film? All this is very strange. If you could find out at least a country, and a better studio, you could try to get in touch with them. Maybe someone knows narrowly specialized sites where you can contact the old school film critics? Or any contacts with specialized experts would be very helpful. The film was definitely not produced by the USSR.
