SuprBay: Says I am banned using the onion address

The last few days when I accessed the forum using the onion address from TOR it says I am banned, although I was logged in.  Today I tried another TOR circuit and finally I accessed without the onion address and it works.

Here is my rookie question:

Is this site banned in some countries? If so, maybe the tor network routed you through that country and it banned you?

Probably not, probably just a temporary glitch... I'm using tor too, and want to learn more, which Is why I'm embarrassing myself by showing my lack of any real knowledge on the subject. AHAHHHAHHAHAH

Every once in a while a spammer uses the .onion address and when they are banned, it prevents everyone from using the .onion address. It last for a brief period until an admin realizes and lifts the ban.

I bounced my TOR circuit around to check and it made no diiference and then just entered the non-onion address and it worked ok.  So it seemed like the only difference was the onion address itself...

Its working again, now...
