SuprBay: Dark Mode MyBB Theme
#1
I don't know if MyBB allow multiple themes as an option but I would love to see a Dark Theme in this forum, as I use it on everything, browser, windows, apps, etc...

Example:

(This one from the example is also free)

What do you guys think?  Cool

Some guys already use browser templates for their favorite sites via plugin (styler). Check around.
Of course, if SuperBay offer me choices, much simpler. But then guess I'd like to apply the theme to all sites.

Themes are easy if you never modify the stock templates and graphics. We left those behind a long time ago. Adding additional themes would make maintaining our custom templates significantly more difficult.

I agree, a black theme should be installed as white theme hurts eyes.

I remember the old Firefox and Opera themes. They were badly balanced back then in some aspects, and I think one today would result in the same happening again.

It has been a while since I maintained a myBB forum, so I don't know the maintenance involved nowadays. But like dueda said, you can just get a plugin like grease monkey and add your own HTML/CSS/JS to make the site look the way you think is cool, then maybe share the script here for other users to enjoy.

If memory serves me right, one guy did it and shared, plus another did not; gotta use the search function... but it shouldn't be too hard to just swap Black/White, scripts to make sites dark already exist on Styler (yet whoever created hypertext didn't make a good job on keeping things easily moddable).
