Star Trek VI Mega Deluxe Edition
#1
I may have gone a bit overboard on this one. I've re-encoded a 4K blu ray rip of the director's cut of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country to 1080p as there were no regular blu ray rips available of the newly remastered director's cut. This rip includes billythefist's newly remixed riff of the director's cut as well as the TrueHD 7.1 audio from the 4K disc and text commentary from Star Trek writers and experts Denise and Michael Okuda. I've also included a rip of the newly remastered theatrical version muxed with bsg4you's riff. This version also contains the TrueHD 7.1 audio as well as a commentary track from director/co-writer Nicholas Meyer and co-writer Denny Martin Flinn and another commentary with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine writer/producer Ira Steven Behr and Larry Nemecek from various Star Trek fan productions. Both versions include subs and chapter titles. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! I've also included lossless rips of all the special features from my Star Trek VI special edition DVD. And you can have it all for the low, low price of clicking on this link!

Everything has been organized so that it can be dropped right on to a Plex server. I want to thank billythefist and bsg4you for their work on these audio mixes.

Any chance you could upload the actual 4K version with all of your extras or is the file too large? I would be willing to host it on MEGA if you upload it.

Too large. I already deleted it.

Thanks anyway. Someone posted an audio-only Rifftrax to sync with the 4K video file but that didn't work great with Halloween and I haven't gotten around to watching Star Trek VI in 4K with his audio track yet.

There are two different Halloween 4K releases, mine works with the Scream Factory release and bsg4you's works with the Lionsgate release

I have the Scream Factory release.  The timing is off just a hair or two which makes it look like Halloween was shot without sync sound and the actors looped all of their dialogue later trying to get it to match their lips.  I couldn't stop staring at the actors' mouths whenever they were speaking.  It drove me crazy.  After 20 minutes I gave up and went back to the old 1080p version.

Thanks!!  I was also waiting elsewhere for a 1080p DC copy that is apparently never coming...much happier to have this super file!
