money was also wasted on a spider-man movie which they didn't know what it was that it was a movie monster and superman 4 that they tried to make into teo movies for a superman 5 also why special F/X in superman 4 sucked so much and was a really good riff on iRiff (i can upload if you all like)

Not really. They took the money they raised from investors for Spider-Man and, instead, spent it on Masters Of The Universe and Superman 4 (always a good idea to defraud your investors), expecting to turn the profits around and double the budget for Spider-Man (which obviously wouldn't have helped much, given that it was being made by Pyun and never could have been good). They barely produced any sets or costumes for Spider-Man before it became obvious that the movie wasn't happening. MOTU 2 had already done some pre-production work (which seems ludicrous given the corners they cut on the first one when it ran out of money), because they automatically assumed MOTU was going to be a huge hit for them. Obviously, Superman 4 was equally a clusterfuck and somehow substantially less of a finished film than MOTU was.

Yes that more to the point , i get lazy and hate to type alot of the time so i sum shit up , and leave out some details i mean if we was talking i would have said that , however have you seen the cannon spiderman trailer ? and the promo stuff around that movie  ??   some crazy shit if you ask me  or the scrpit to the james camron version ?

Never read the Cameron script, but I'm pretty sure I saw their promo stuff. They'd always do promo posters and weak-ass trailers to show to financiers and distributors to try to get foreign money before they even shot the movie, while promising it was already underway. How they managed to scam their way through the movie industry of the 80s for so long with so little was a pretty amazing story. If Electric Boogaloo was 4 hours long, it might have done more justice to the tale. The limitations of making movies that people will sit through really cut that story to the bone. That one needed a 6-hour Netflix docu-series.
