3d-stuff.ru and 3d-load.net seem to be okay as of now. Still no sign of 3dzone.link.
Seems 3dzone is only down for maintenance. This is really good news. 20/3/18. 9.30pm. UK
3dZone is back. Yippee!! 20/3/18 10.30pm
3dzone.link either down AGAIN or something really weird is happening

Starting this morning, every time I try to log onto 3dzone.link, I get the following message:

Privacy error

Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 3dzone.link (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
NET::ERR_CERT_REVOKED

Automatically send some system information and page content to Google to help detect dangerous apps and sites. Privacy policy
3dzone.link normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to 3dzone.link this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be 3dzone.link, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit 3dzone.link right now because its certificate has been revoked. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

Hope they restore its privacy certificate soon because it's the best site for DAZ assets.
3dZone is back on line. 4/4/18 16.20
Gotta ask since I kinda backtrack in the thread to see some old website I may have missed and saw people said that 3dzone.link use to mining coin before you can download (page 11). Totaly forgot about that when I went to download some stuff, but I never seen the download link blocked or anything. Did the site remove the mining or something?

If I'm not mistaken, the site did have a pop-up for a period of time asking users to contribute some of their computer's CPU power towards the site's use by clicking on a button; not sure if it was for cryptocurrency mining or for some other purpose. But it was optional and never a precondition for being able to download their files.
The pop-up has stopped appearing for several weeks now so I suppose the site owner must have figured out some other, more efficient way to perform mining. Smile

Thanks for the quick response!

And on another note, should we include 3d-stuff.ru as a sharing site? Cause unless your a member we cannot download anything from them and it's just a tease at this point seeing they have some thing others don't have.

Unless I'm missing something here.
I don't see why I should pay for something they've nicked in the first place.!!!!!
The likes of 3D-Zone and 3D-load play by the spirit of the game!

Are you saying you have to pay to become a member of 3d-stuff.ru? I have just tried and it says simply "User registration is currently not allowed."

Links to any sites on which registration is closed, or which require payments to register are not permitted to be posted on this forum. They should be reported (click on the Report button in the bottom right hand corner of the post) so they can be blocked.

You are absolutely correct--any site which requires your money is operated by scum and should be avoided. In general, most of what is alleged to be available on such sites will not actually be available anyway.

Well 3dzone.link does still take your CPU when you have their website open, so that's their other way of mining I suppose. I found out after going to their website with my task manager on and my CPU spike when I visit their site.

It even say their doing it with the orange bar on the bottom of site page so not really hiding it. Just saying what I found in case someone missed it.
