Sharing sites
Hi! I was a really huge fan of Daz3dfree.com, I was really sad when it was taken down, so I'll try to share my knowledge in finding cheap paid web hosting services.. Since BlackFriday is coming I might as well mention this cause it's the perfect opportunity. Huge sales are everywhere and that includes web hosting plans!

I got a shared hosting plan recurring discount billed every 3 years from $130 down to $30 (75% off forever), based on how I understood Daz3dfree.com all of the good stuff are uploaded in File Sharing sites anyway so basically anyone with a paid hosting(even cheap ones) site can run a site like this.

my web host server is located in USA so it's most likely prone to DMCA, so I suggest searching a Russian based or China based web hosting servers. or any web hosts that are really tough against DMCA or don't give a fvcks about DMCA.

Here is the site where u can get Black Friday offers http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=45

There are many types of Hosting services, but I think shared hosting is enough for this business www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4
Daz torrents are getting harder and harder to find.
For now, torrents are dead. Some private torrent groups, but you gotta be invited. If you haven't already, look at the list of sites recommended by the peeps in this thread. Check them out. Find some good ones and hang around, contribute something, even if it's support/knowledge/older content/jokes. That's one of the best ways to find better and more private sharing sites and private torrent groups.

Warning, DO NOT bother with CG Persia, unless you're an obsequious little wretch who eats shit and never complains. They DO NOT LIKE daz torrents, and the mods (in their IRC channel) are always talking about banning them. Don't ask me why. Anyway, I had a huge surplus ratio, like close to 1tb, and they banned me because I complained about some little power-tripping asshole mod who deleted my torrent for no good reason (short version is some asshole made a totally unfounded complaint about my torrent and the asshole mod deleted it and wouldn't give any good explanation for why he insisted on taking the guy's word when there was no proof whatsoever of his claims).

CG Persia will steal your shit and then ban you. They're scumbags.

"The most ironic part is Daz and the PAs think they are doing the right thing for themselves, when, in reality, it's the opposite. I don't understand why it seems soooooooo difficult to some brands and corporations to get the fact that having its products shared is a big free advertising. When I discovered Daz for the very first time, back in 2003 or so, there were very few artists main content for Daz, and out of Daz. Now Daz is widely known, used everywhere by any kind of person. Famous artists from Artstation are using it for painting overs, or references. Game devs use it to cut on dev times. It makes a lot of customers that actually pay for content. But guess what. How Daz became so widely known ? Just by the quality of its products ? Or because the sharing communities made it accesible to almost anyone in no time ?"

Another thing that Daz people don't get is that to really get into the hobby, you need to build up a considerable library. You need to have a bunch of sets, props, clothes, etc., ready to go. That just isn't economically feasible for most people the old fashioned way. What most people CAN afford is to pirate a library, and then buy stuff here and there to supplement. The money spent is money that Daz would simply not get, without piracy to build up their libraries on the first place. The simple fact is that pirates don't release everything, and there's always something for sale that you just can't find a source for. But without that pirated library as the basis, there's no point for buying the odd thing here and there.

"I, myself, download contents I would never pay, and I pay content I find worthy. How many times I downloaded something and got disappointed by its quality ? I would not have paid for such content, and I'm glad I got a way to figure it out without having to spend money. The reverse stands true, aswell. I downloaded content, thinking it was just meh to okay, and discovered it was way better than I thought. In the end, I paid for content I would not have bought otherwise. I had to actually download it for free, before I decided I would pay for it."

Personally, my budget is $0 and has been for a long time. I simply don't have the money. What can I say? I'm poor! But it is ABSOLUTELY true that I have pirated a ton of stuff that I would laugh in someone's face if they said I'd buy it if it weren't for piracy. Nope. Sorry, guy, it's scheisse. TONS of stuff that's released is crap. Probably half my library, if not more, is stuff I'll never use because it's shit, and it's only there for a rainy day, and because installing stuff is way too much of a PITA.
Hi guys! I'm slowly rebuilding the old website, hope you like it! Here it is! http://3d-load.net Smile
Can anyone confirm whatever this site is?
It is legit and done by the old daz3dfree admin. What else do you want to know. Perhaps, PM anonymous951 if you want to know more.

Quick question though. Why do some of the google drive files require permission to use?
