I'm hoping season two will be a bit more grrrr, and am expecting more from the characters, who are now firmly established. Except for that cop guy who seems like he's sleepy, stoned or suicidal.

Review

This show has a great premise (a critic who reviews life experiences) and Andy Daly is hilarious as the main character. Fastest I've ever gotten through 8 episodes of any TV show.

It's an OK series but the writers need to relax with the continuous plot twists because this is getting ridiculous.

Watched season 1 of Kroll Show, an american series with an assortment of characters (all whiny sounding) in different sketches, usually mocking or spoofing reality tv. It's loud, brash and far too screechy/tinny/inyoears for my delicate english sensibilities, with the nasally-shrieky voice of Jenny Slate being a particular irritant. I can only bear to watch one episode every few weeks so it's going to take me months to get through season 2. A lot of the characters aren't even likeable, but I started watching this when I was in america recently and wondered watwatwat I was watching. The CANada pisstake is pretty funny though and that's probably the only sketch I like so far.
