Search tool needs to be more for forgiving

Search doesn't help a user unless they have the exact title & they know its spelling well.
For eg:- Try "Aquamaan"
No results with search.php
Google it & it will suggest you the correct spelling & give you all those results as well.
So, Just removing an "a" to make "Aquaman" and correct results pop up.

Helping the user with spellngs is nice for UX. Tongue
Search needs an overhaul since all major websites have grown smart. Piratebay also should keep up the pace.

Please read FAQ and TPB-related threads. There're a dozen discussions about that and every week a couple more pop up, plenty of answers to your query.
To make it short, "don't hold your breath on changes".

Since you mentioned Google, TPB suggests we do exactly that: Use Google's site search ability on TPB to easily find what you want.
Also there're multiple-site search services, magnet search services, and others like offline databases. Or you can find your own solution.

Keep ready for the future of file sharing, landscape is changing.

Or just check the IMDB page for proper spelling if you think Aquaman has five z's and three o's.

That won't work down here in the real, dark world. Judging by the dump files, people really don't like to spell; some are worse than me.
Also, there's a problem with Chinese, Turkish, Icelandic, Cyrillic, Farsi, Cherokee, and even some English dialects.
