Hello
saw this function in the references and wanted to suggest to provide a decentral search for torrent-release-pages:
If each item of TPB-search engine can be accessed via RSS, the search result webpage can be stored in a DB.
From this DB peers can download and share the webpage via p2p/f2f, that is done via an URL-Key and its encrypted connections.
Needed is just:
- IP Address with port
- URL-Key on a Website to download.
- Short tutorial, how to add this in to a client.
TPB could creatre over the RSS import a distribited search engine with an URL-index and also an page-index, which is decentral accessible.
The client search and URL-Network looks like in the screenshot in the last picture of the last referenced page:
Idea taken from:
https://annas-software.org/AnnaArchivist...issues/169
see also last picture at the bottum of this page: https://sammysupport.github.io/spot-on/
With that idea the search is not only decentral accessible, but also the database of the search index can be distributed to each node.
That is innovative, as no search engine offers a download, respective p2p / f2f download, of the search index database.
Over the URL-Key distribution as stated in the references this is over encrypted channels possible.
Maybe an innovative idea for a probably additional creation on this site to distribute in addtion also p2p, it would be also possible for form pages, and as the URL-DB is also accepting updates of pages like in a github.commit-style, even forum post-updates can be sent p2p. Needed is just a RSS from any page to get into the pages and URL network.
Pages are inserted without pictures, besides ASCII-pictures probably. Needs a test. But URLs / Magnet Links on that page are kept and shown.
