Search Algorithm issue

I think you may have an issue with you search algorithm. I have noticed recently especially with TV shows searches. Shows which i know are there are not being returned.

I'll give you an example. Searching on "COSMOS POSSIBLE WORLDS S01E13" returns one match of a very low 480p copy.

If I search using KickASS it returns 7 valid matches. The same 480p copy like TPB does but also three 720p torrents. I can understand that the results will not always be the same between you and KickAss. But TPB is usually the one with the most returns And the difference has never been so large.

This isn't a once off search issue. I have tried it a number of times with TV Shows. Repeatedly you are not returning the same number of results or if results are being returned the bigger file sizes with the best quality are being stripped off.

My only reason for signing up was so i could tell you about this issue. I hope you take some time to investigate it and find the cause.

Sometimes the search is sketchy... I'll leave that to someone more knowledgable to answer that.

BUT. I searched just the title. and came up with a torrent with season 1 complete:

I know you are probably all set and are just sending an FYI, but if it was me, I would download the torrent and extract just that episode (I've done it on uTorrent for some Smallville episodes I needed). Kinda of a PITA, but you can right click and "stop download" of the other ones you don't want

The S01E13 uploads on KAT are around 21 April 2020.

TPB site was undergoing some changes around that time. You can see it in the 'Site Status' thread in this forum.
Some users weren't able to access the website. This could be the reason.

If you notice a discrepancy, it would best to post the search string and results.
