RiffTrax Recycled - Robot Jox (1989)
#1
It came up in another thread that the same person that made the Judge Dredd recycle of RiffTrax also made one for Robot Jox. The original Youtube posts are gone, but I found a torrent for it and decided to post a Mega link here. The video quality is poor, but I don't have the desire to re-sync it with better video.

I only watched the first ~15 minutes of it, but it seemed good. If it weren't for some missed opportunities for very specific riffs, I don't know that I would notice it's made from old riffs pieced together.

Fifteen minutes of Robot Jox sounds reasonable. I wonder how the guy who requested Rollergator is doing...

Thanks for the share!

Ha, I actually do want to continue watching it. I just had other things to do at the time. I remember seeing some scenes of the robots battling on TV when I was a kid and thought it looked really cool. I always wanted to watch it, but never have.

Yeah, it's really not bad as far as I remember it. It's a fun robot movie with awful uniforms. I'm curious as to how it aged and am looking forward to it, really Smile

Not sure if anyone wants this or not, but i hate not having artwork for Plex, and i couldn't find anything decent, so i whipped this up real quick based off of the only tiny pic i could find.

I guess I did have the desire to resync it with better video. The blu-ray is out, so why not? It was impressively out of sync with it too, so I wish the sound quality was better than what seems like listening to it through someone's phone on "Speaker". It must have the lowest bit-rate I've ever seen in an audio file.
Sorry I don't know how to tag audio tracks in an mp4, but
track one is Rifftrax Recycled
track two is the DTS-HD movie audio
track three is DVD Producer Michael Felcher and Director Stuart Gordon commentary
track four is Visual Effects Director Paul Gentry, Puppeteer Mark Rappaport and Lead Animator Paul Jessel commentary
It automatically starts with track two for some reason, and I didn't bother figuring out why. It's all on there and in 1080p. Enjoy,

New file is too big for free mega quotas. I'll try the first version I guess. Maybe get a ~2 gig size at some point?

Thanks either way!
