Man I gotta say their dubs kind of suck when they already go in hating on a movie. Just constant nitpicking with the occasional "oh that part was ok" thrown in there.

Man I gotta say their dubs kind of suck when they already go in hating on a movie. Just constant nitpicking with the occasional "oh that part was ok" thrown in there.

that's what I've been saying!! They did it to Sonic one and this was the worst they've ever done. Why even watch anything if you expect every moment to be exactly to your liking. They were trying to predict every moment every step of the way. I dont think I've ever seen them behave so poorly during any of their commentaries.  My family and I have enjoyed all three of the Sonic movies and from the looks of the box office, so has everyone else. Top video game movie series of all time. Always a number one opening. And Jim Carrey was great in any scene he was in. I know its just my opinion but they really sounded like children throughout this one. I went back and watched their more recent movies and I noticed they assume what's happening (or going to happen) more and more. Hope they change their ways back to how they used to be.

I feel like sometimes they're a little too easily influenced by each other in their opinions. One little thing someone doesn't like and it snowballs. Some of the jokes they hate, if they weren't already hating on the movie, feel like ones they would definitely like

Dude the Sonic movies are slop. Now I'm surprised they hate it so much because they actually have pretty slop tastes themselves but let's not pretend Sonic movies have any soul.

100% agree with everything here. They definitely have been trying to predict moments more and more recently. They also do influence each other a lot now too. Notice how Lew said he enjoyed the movie when he watched it with his kids but by the end of the dub he was agreeing that there was basically no fun to be found in it. The thing is they still have great dubs in them like they've always done. As a palate cleanser after Sonic I rewatched the Barbarians dub. What a really terrible movie but they just focused on making the most of it, having fun and being silly while watching it, and holy crap it really showed. A great mix of them laughing at it, dubbing in silly voices and making funny observations at all the crazy stupid shit that was happening. Might be in my top 5 dubs of theirs now. Definitely in top 10. Lew saying "I wanna see some buttholes" at the start of the movie then half way through said "I didn't want to see THIS much buttholes" literally made me choke on my drink.

i don't take these guys the slightest bit seriously
my favorite moment from last year was during the charity stream
they did the electrical shock game with the nasty jellybellys as gamba punishment
you know the jelly bellys that taste like vomit etc
well those geniuses drank heavily carbonated diet dr pepper as a salve to the bad flavor, effectively aerosolizing the disgusting jelly belly scent/flavor and triggering one another's gag reflexes
it's a great watch

Agree completely.  My missus was trying so hard to look up their loincloth after he said that. I lost my drink!
And it's a fantastic kids movie. Watched the 1st two with me nephew and we left smiling. Plus I'll watch anything with Jim Carrey. I get not all family movies are for everyone, but when someone has to constantly tell the other to wait for the next scene, and then feel bad for admitting they initially liked it. I almost was wishing they would've just stopped the commentary at that point. Hard Ticket to Hawaii is my fave of theirs and a splendid example of why they can be a fantastic comedy team. I really wish they would do more Andy Sidaris movies Or finally get to watching the Warcraft movie they have mentioned sooo many times. I feel like Lew is the most positive of the crew when it comes to being open minded but he is also the 1st to cry when something sad happens. a Very endearing bloke if I've ever heard one.

Ha. Yeah Lew has grown on me so much. In the best possible sense he has an almost child like outlook on everything. Finds real joy in fun movies, gets real sad in sad movies, and gets really scared in scary movies. He's actually genuinely funny as fuck with some golden on the fly comments. The call back joke to buttholes was so good it could have been a rifftrax like prewritten joke. I really wish he could have been there for the No Holds Barred dub since he's a big fan of wrestling.

I honestly thought you may have heard them say they were going to dub it in the last stream. What a crazy coincidence.

It's no wonder we both like the Sonic movies. There's so many movies I'd never want to usually watch but would love to see if it was being riffed on. Warcraft is the a perfect example of this.
