I really didn't want to create a separate request for this but at this point, it seems like nobody is going to upload this without a separate request. The version of San Franpsycho that was uploaded in the previous thread is the high tv 480p version even though Rifftrax sells an HD version for $2 more. Not sure why somebody already willing to spend $9.99 on San Franpsycho wouldn't spend the extra two bucks. If anybody could upload the HD version of this title that would be great. I did request it in the other thread--at least twice--but everybody there seems to be deliriously happy with the 480p version. Does nobody watch stuff on actual televisions anymore?

Not to sound like a dick, but your post seems very passive aggressive and is probably not the best way to ask for something. Harping on others for being too cheap to buy the HD version is a bad look when you're asking for something for free.

I never thought I'd see somebody so panic-stricken over a Joe Estevez movie.
Good luck with all your future requests, I know I'll be ignoring them.

Hey, look. I felt the same way. Some off-topic comments drowned out the request for the HD version. I was really looking forward to watching this one before it was released, and to see just an SD posted was a little disappointing.... So I did my part and bought it (before seeing this post, and because I felt the same way).

I think the tone here is frustration and disappointment, not entitlement. I felt a similar sentiment, and it's not entitlement. I wanted to make another post requesting the HD version, but requesting it again should not have been necessary just because a conversation derailed the original request thread. So I bought it to share and give back to the community I have taken so much from.

I apologize if I came across as a passive aggressive dick. I know some people don't like the HD high uploads which are around 9 or 10 GB and difficult to download with a free Mega account but the 720p HD med files are usually around the same size as the 420p high TV files so why would anyone even want the inferior high TV encode? I would have purchased this movie from Rifftrax but money is tight for me this month. I plan to donate $10 on the Rifftrax site on the 28th when I do have some money. I always purchase from Rifftrax instead of downloading for free if I have the money. Again, sorry.

Thanks very much for the upload. I do buy the movies from Rifftrax when I can but I don't always have the money so it's nice to be able to get them here when that's the case.

San Franpsycho is a very low-budget movie but it's shot almost entirely at night (which is the subject of one of the jokes) and the night scenes frequently look splotchy because reproducing dark images with contrast requires more pixels than bright images do. DVDs are a standard definition format but can have a resolution as high as 576p. High tv Rifftrax files are 480p. San Franpsycho isn't the kind of movie Rifftrax would normally release HD so the fact that they did it in this case should tell you something.
