[REQ] SF Sketchfest 2013, 2015, 2016

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has copies of these Sketchfest videos. Thanks.

I have them but it's going to be a bit before I can upload them.

If you want them faster, or if anyone doesn't know how, here's how to get them from Tubi with yt-dlp:

Go to https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp#release-files and download the binary for your OS. On Windows, you'll want to add it to your path.
The video files will need to be fixed. You need ffmpeg for that. Don't worry, you don't need to do anything other than install it and yt-dlp will do the rest. This page ( https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/how-...all-ffmpeg ) should tell you how to do that in such a way that yt-dlp can use it.
Then open a terminal in the folder you want to download to:

yt-dlp "https://tubitv.com/movies/526711/rifftrax-night-of-the-shorts-sf-sketchfest-2013"

will download 2013

yt-dlp "https://tubitv.com/movies/495831/rifftrax-live-night-of-the-shorts-a-good-day-to-riff-hard-sf-sketchfest-2015"

will download 2015

yt-dlp "https://tubitv.com/movies/495827/rifftrax-night-of-the-shorts-sf-sketchfest-2016"

will download 2016

You can also download any other rifftrax video Tubi has using yt-dlp; just go to the Tubi page for that video and substitute the URL for one of the above. There are other options you can use if you want smaller files with worse resolution. Just read the yt-dlp page for them. These commands are just the simplest; they'll download the best quality (which I believe is 720p for these videos) to whatever folder you run them in. I'm on Windows so I'm not totally sure how it might differ for Linux or Mac, but the commands should be the same.

Just let me know if you want to wait for me to be able to upload the files and I'll get them on Mega as soon as I can.

Thanks so much. I got to the point where you open a terminal and had a little issue but found out that when you enter the path, you have to put a .\ in front of yt-dlp or else it won't download in case anyone else wants to try it. You don't have to upload anything to Mega. Thanks, intransitivelie for steering me in the right direction.

Created an account just to thank you for this. Never heard of yt-dlp before.

Downloader is working great!!!  Great tool.  I'll have to check out Tubi TV to see what else is there.
