One of my favorite things is the Rifftrax Sketchfest live shows. Two hours of riffed shorts is just the best of things IMO.

That said, this one was not the best.  Sean Thomason was a great fill-in for Pearl, er, Mary Jo, and Paul F was great as well, but Trace should have begged off.  The three (!) shorts The Mads did were freaking awful. Unwatchable even.

That's all, really.  This was a strange SF for RT and it showed.

Also, thanks again for the show.  I do enjoy these, even if the effort was uneven.

I was actually in the live audience for this one and I gotta agree with JetJaguar73, this wasn't one of their best. Mike and Mary Jo weren't there and Trace was unintelligible most of the time (as he was the night before at the Mads show). And there was sort of a weird and hurried energy to the whole affair. I didn't think they would release this one, but very thankful to have it!

fwiw I also made recording of The Mads show for the Arch Hall Jr. picture 'The Choppers', was thinking of syncing it with the film but with so-so audio quality and Trace's bad voice it may not be worth it. I also recorded and transcribed the Q&A with Frank, may post that here someday
