Hey friends!

Does anyone have any Gymkommentary syncs? If you haven't heard these guys, one is a guy from IFC (Matt Singer) and the other guy draws comics (Chris Moreno). They haven't made any new tracks in a few years but I figure you lot would be interested. Thanks in advance.

According to their blog, they recorded 16 "kommentaries". Here are the two I have.

The quality of the only existing syncs I've seen of the Gymkommentary Super Friends episodes was very old and poor. 320x240, DX50, 10 fps, and the riff was about a second off from where it needed to be (because it was synced to recordings off Boomerang instead of the DVDs which had an extra near second of black at the beginning).

So I found better video (640x480, H264, 29.97 fps) and made my own mix. Original audio is on the 2nd track.

I noticed a bunch of these highly compressed Gymkommentary vids are 23.97 fps, which should make dropping the audio mix into better video relatively easy. Here's Universal Soldier: The Return. I'll look for others.

I jinxed myself.  Most of these required timing adjustments.  I took the audio mixes from the versions posted here.  A couple have  them talking over silence during the credits rather than the end music (and talking over silence during the after credits scenes in Wolverine).   The movie audio is included on track 2 of these if anyone wants to do another mix.

Mega Shark is very compressed; I couldn't find better video.  Still better than what's been posted.

Breakin, Revenge, Phantom and Wicker Man are my mixes.  Righteous Kill is a previous mix where I upgraded the video.  Wicker Man includes BSG's Rifftrax track.  Phantom includes his Rifftrax, Mr. Plinkett/RLM, and 2 DVD/Blu Ray commentaries.

I'm looking into a fan edit of Star Trek: TMP since the director's cut doesn't exist in HD (the CG effects they added were only DVD quality).  There's someone who tried to recreate the dir cut using the theatrical Blu Ray and upscaled DVD shots.  I'll see if it works.

This is a HD recreation of the director's cut of Star Trek: TMP. There were two options. I went with one that used more of the theatrical effects (when they didn't matter) in place of upscaled DVD effects since the former looks better. This version still has some upscaled DVD effects (for things like the improved planet Vulcan).

1st track is a new auto-ducked mix I made, 2nd is a non-ducked mix available upthread here, 3rd is the 5.1 movie, 4th is the DVD commentary and 5th is a commentary from startrek.com. Subtitles include the movie and a text commentary from Mike Okuda.
