Point Break = Weak Riffs

It can't be just me, but the riffs just weren't landing during the Point Break Live show. Particularly Kevin's lines were among some of the most stale.

Do these guys have a plan for retirement?

Yeah it's been weak for a while I doubt any of them even write anymore they probably just slap tier names on it while the unfunny writers they have write it.

doesn't the fundraising for the live show(s) always go well?
I hope they choose to do at least one while they are healthy
isn't rifftrax the guys's second act? they've had a lot of great years as entertainers. pretty remarkable, really

you aren't wrong. but tbh a bunch of the live shows have been real turds
while I've really had fun with many of the new vods despite the editing
I dunno, here's hoping they keep on truckin

Don't get me wrong, I love 'em and I'm rooting for them, but you can tell time is running out.
The studio ones are better, I guess because of retakes and editing.

Either way, they still get my money (most of the time Smile )

It's been like this for a while. I was watching the Hobgoblins Live show the other day (I'd never seen it), and at one point when they cut to the show next to a column of the guys, the guys stared straight at their podiums the entire time. Actually, Kevin glanced up at the movie a couple of times. For something like a minute, three old guys reading their lines.

To paraphrase something a wise old man once told me, why ruin perfectly adequate riffs by having to look at the people reading them?

You sound like my dad with his views on live music.  I get it, it is imperfect and not up to studio quality which may have taken dozens, if not hundreds, of billable hours to produce. Valid opinion, but i quite enjoy seeing my performers raw (oy, this needs a better word), in a real-world setting, doing it live.

I fecking love it. For good or for ill it was a ride.

These are the writers for The Fantastic Argoman
Written by Mike Nelson, Conor Lastowka, Sean Thomason, Jason Miller, & Zach Shatzer

Only Mike left and I bet his name is just thrown up there to generate sales
