My guess is that the Big Bad (the head honcho) has hit him, and Rifftrax must've cut that bit part. With what's going on lately, I can see why.
at 1:10:03 for anyone curious.
i have a copy of the uncut movie. they cut a scene there that's about 1 minute and 11 seconds. in it, stacy keach confronts both of them with his gun (backed up by all the police) and fires a warning shot near amanda when they don't comply with his orders. michael dorn (as the alien) runs away, distancing himself to protect amanda. stacy keach shoots him eight times in the torso as he runs away. amanda runs up to him where's he fallen, bloodied, and offers herself up as a host in order to save him. the alien says he can't do that, because he loves her. amanda responds with a Wrath Of Khan reference. the alien's last words are '....star trek...?' stacy keach walks up and cavalierly tells amanda that the 'slice-and-dice' guys are gonna come take him apart.
so yeah, I can see why they removed it. nothing about it plays well.
overall it looks like they cut about 12 minutes and 24 seconds in the RiffTrax version. While the picture is fuzzier, the audio in my uncut copy seems to be much better. The RiffTrax version has this hollow phasey sound to it (particularly noticeable during the end credits music).

I enjoy listening to him talk about timeshares.

Years ago I stumbled across a multipart doc on forest fires that Keach voiced. I watched all 3 hours. Only Will Lyman or Keith David are better. (I truly need help!)

If this had come out 6 months ago or 6 months from now we would have had an uncut film...
I appreciate them editing out real violence towards animals, and sexual assaults...but.. this feels *different*.
I dunno, not looking to argue or get political about this, but this was censored because of when it was released. A precedent I hope doesn't become the norm for RT.

Having watched it myself, I believe this would have been edited out no matter what.
it's a very violent scene, especially in comparison to the rest of the movie. the dying character is denied any dignity, and the scene attempts (and fails) to play it for laughs. it's weird, but not in a 'funny' way; it's just kinda jarring and unpleasant .
given RT's 'brand', especially with how it skews in MJ+B riffs (relatively clean and family friendly, generally light-hearted, bleeping out curse words, etc) i think it makes sense for this to be cut. 'amanda and the alien' sounds like a fun comedy sci-fi romp, and the violence in that scene doesn't conform in any way to its overall presentation/tone or MJ+B's usual fare.
