Pirate Browser - No more censorship!

PirateBrowser is a bundle package of the Tor client (Vidalia), FireFox Portable browser (with foxyproxy addon) and some custom configs that allows you to circumvent censorship that certain countries such as Iran, North Korea, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Spain and Ireland impose onto their citizens...

One of the great advantages of TOR is that it can even tunnel around router filters that restrict browsing, and net policies in public wi-fi locations.
I was at the Providence hospital, getting better, and decided I wanted to check out some "stuff" on the web, naughty nurses and such. The darn thing blocked me and told me the site had been blocked by the hospital online policy. So I opened TOR, the browser popped up, and voilĂ ; policy circumvented. The nurses didn't know what to do with me after that. Angel
I set up a similar block policy to a website through my Linksys Router, and verified I could not bypass it through my standard browser. After opening TOR, and the browser, sure enough it went right through like a hot knife through butter.

TOR is gold. The stuff that pirates' dreams are made of.

But why use TOR if an alternate DNS can do the trick mosft of the times?

Most of the time an alternative DNS won't work.

But, if it does, it would be a more satisfactory solution than Tor.
