No Seeders and no Leechers on TPB

I can't see seeders and leechers, i have been uploading all day and its "0" does anyone have the same problem?

Have a look at the recent torrents page:

They are all like that, so it would appear the update mechanism is on holiday.


In general though, as long as you are connected to peers in your client, you can safely ignore any statistics on the web site.

They are always inaccurate. Some of that is intentional, the rest is just the way the protocol works.

I'm not following, so are you saying the torrent is uploaded even though it says zero & we should still DL?

I normally go with the one of of my FAV ULers who has the most seeders, well I can't do that. LOL

It happens from time to time. The thingamabob that does the seed/peer scrapes messes up and gives all zeros. Or the thingamabob that displays them or something does it. Whatever the actual thingamabob is, it has always been temporary, and should be now.

The seed/peer stats on TPB are usually wrong anyway, for a variety of reasons, but they are normally at least a rough approximation. But all zeroes is not normal and will be fixed.

If you have a FAV ULer, that you trusted before, you can probably still download from them, there are probably seeders for it. TPB just isn't showing them for awhile.

I am also facing same issue. Sometime very peculiar problem. Upload takes longer time.

If the torrent was uploaded recently, they it likely has a healthy swarm and you'll be able to download.

Long story short, ignore the numbers on the web site. If you want to download something, then download it. Either the peers are there or they aren't.
