It's not just GCHQ and the NSA who are spying on gamers. Private contractors like Lockheed Martin and SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) are at it too. When you consider Lockheed Martin gathered the data for the 2011 UK census, it comes as no surprise that they've moved onto gathering data from gamers. If anyone is surprised that gamers are being spied on, then you need to open your eyes and close/reduce the gaping holes on your digital trail. Everyone's data is being collected, quite possibly to use against you at a later date.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Snowden becomes symbolic of what could be the age of the great intelligence failure, the dangerous slide to a dominant reliance and use of SIGINT and technology, at a time when there are few international polyglot culturally rich HUMINT operators, despite repeated warnings from their own people.

If the US really wanted to go after members of resistance movements such as HAMAS and Hizbullah, they would have people on the ground where it counts, not in an office playing cat and mouse with Fat Derek from Baltimore playing Second Life, or Dave in England playing a shoot-em-up on xbox online, which just goes to show for those with eyes, that this has nothing to do with catching 'terrorists' at all.

TV really then they have a better chance of surviving trip to the sun in the buff than getting anything off the TV from me I watch TV maybe once a week.... most the shows I watch are Anime from Japan so they only on the net... and even then thats the only time i don't use a VPN and IP hider besides when I'm playing SC2 and DDO, or surfing youtube...

realy doesn't bug me none I have a cell and I hardly ever use that I only use it when i need to call customer support on DDO if something bugs on the store which has only happened 3 times in 4 years the last time the items weren't sent but i got my point back and also got my Items... so it rarely happens.... and even with that its usless to them to the courts....

hes a online game, surfs and downloads youtube videos, surfs best gore, and watches japanese cartoons.... that's really going to help there case in a court trial... or even that he rarely uses his cell phone and rarely watches TV...

come on the only real threat for me is all my downloads that i do....
