A commentor at MyS mentioned they were able to rip 720p copies of the streams at 247mb and 237mb. I'll watch for those. I think these are posting for free eventually so this is just an early access exercise.

It sure is great to see the silhouette again with Joel and the bots!

Neat to hear grown up Josh riffing, he's really good.

And weird but nice to have Bill riffing with Joel - very cool!

The two new shorts will be streamed on the MST3K Facebook page and YouTube channel tonight 2020.10.30 at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT

Very easy to watch and very easy to rip (probably at higher res too)

The live stream capped out at 720p and had a Zoom logo covering some of the bottom right.  I would consider the ones you posted to be the superior source.

I just did frame comparisons of the 360p Supermarket DVD early access short in the share and a 720p YouTube rip.

Like you mentioned, the DVD version looks better despite being lower res!

I suspect they just inserted the same 360p source files into the live stream which just re-encodes it again lowering quality.
