I love that movie since it's very deep, intelligent and philosophical.

Alright, so I'm trying something new. I'm gonna start uploading discographies (when I can), in multiple formats (FLAC, MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis and Opus), and upload them all simultaneously to see which one generates the most traffic. I'm curious to see what formats people are actually listening to these days, as I've been living in my private little FLAC paradise for too long.

I never used a seedbox as I could never justify the cost. Even if it's not expensive it's just another thing to pay for.

* EDIT *

Right now, FLAC and Ogg Vorbis are in the lead. Opus is supposedly superior to Ogg Vorbis, even at lower bitrates. That's why the Opus torrent only uses 160 kb/s, cause it doesn't need more for audio transparency. But I think people have a pretty strong association between size and quality. Bigger means better quality, they think. Sometimes that's true but it really depends. It depends on what codec you're using, what the source is, and how many times it's been encoded to different lossy formats.

So I'm thinking people are shying away from the Opus torrent cause it's smaller. Or maybe it's still a relatively unknown format, not sure. It took a long fucking time for Ogg Vorbis to get widely recognized and supported back in the day.

Doing my part in creating peace on Earth. I decided to add subtitles for every language that I could find online. This will not be something I do regularly, but I thought I'd do it this time as an experiment. It was quite a lot of work because none of the subtitles were properly synced, so I had to re-sync them all. I got to test out my new (and improved) subtitle scripts.

Welcome back... again!

I think I know the answer, but how much space did the subtitles take?

Thanks, RobertX. I didn't rip those FLAC albums, by the way. I got them from private torrent sites. In an ideal world, everyone would seed back a minimum of 1:1 and there would be no need for private sites. That's why I try to make FLAC music available on public trackers when I can.

The subtitles are about 5 MB in total, excluding the idx/sub file I borrowed from the VXT (RARBG) release of the same movie.
