I've been hearing about the fabled Satellaview system for the Super Famicom. Might want to check those out!

Hi, RobertX. Good to see you!

There's a remake of Zelda 1 for NES in the same graphics engine as A Link to the Past, for Satellaview. It's a Japanese name, I forgot which exactly, but you can google 'BS Zelda' and read more about it. There's ROM hacks that have translated it from Japanese to English, but the Japanese version is included in 'snes.7z'.

'(BS)' is the tag for Satellaview ROMs. So you know what to look for in 'snes.7z'.

Btw, I created a script to help me make the smaller US ROM archives in 'roms/us'. But upon closer inspection I noticed a few games were missing from those. You can find those games in the main archives for those systems, meaning the archives that don't have '_us' tacked on to their name.

This happened cause I did not take the (W) tag into account when making the ROM sorting script I used. That's the world tag. Apparently a select few of the games were released without a region lock, and they have that tag.

Not every system seems to have that tag, but the affected systems in this collection are: gba, gbx, gen and nes.

I did not notice the tag because so few games use it, and all the ROMs were named differently before I started processing them through GoodTools, and I made the script early on in my journey to compile this collection.

If you're on Linux, you can use my script to create new and more complete US-centric sets from the main sets.

Also, I've been spending some time cleaning up my ripping script. It was working fine, but I was not happy with how garbled the 'dts_extract_remux' function looked before. So I re-organized it to make it more readable and easier to maintain.

Enjoy!

This is a re-rip of my first x265 / HEVC upload under the 'LiNUX' tag (that I made back in 2019). This time around the source and quality is much higher.

Enjoy!

Same story again. One of my early rips, re-ripped with the current settings to be consistent with the other rips.

I do. Most of them are from a list of my favorite movies. In rare cases I will rip a movie just because I can (based on access), but most of the time it's movies I like. The one I just uploaded is pretty good IMHO.
