At the end of Carol , when Therese realizes she will not love anyone but Carol, and she goes to meet her, Jo Stafford sings "no other love":
And we Chopin lovers know that's the 'Tristesse' étude:

One of the all-time greatest films ever made, and one of the best scores: Auric's score to Cocteau's La belle et la bete.

The Dark Knight is an amazing film (IMO), of course fans will know this
The soundtrack is produced by a reasonably well known music artist Hans Zimmer.
Hans Zimmer also produces other amazing sounds for many other well known films. Everything regarding the film, soundtrack, and Hans Zimmer should be available from the following link It is quite good to see a great variety of music here This is a great song by Terry Reid, it also appears on The Devils Rejects Movie and soundtrack, which also has
some other really great tracks. Take a look!

I first saw it when I was 10 . It sort of hypnotized me. Anyway, another retro classic, and one of the best movie soundtracks ever, 'Chariots of Fire' by Vangelis. And it also won best score at the Oscars. The movie was ok. Vangelis also did the amazing score for 'Blade Runner'. Of course 'Blade Runner' is one of the best movies ever made and I'll fistfight anyone who disagrees with me. I feel so old. I'm only 12 years old though! Also one of the stars of that movie, Jemaine Clement, is part of the 'Flight of the Conchords' duo, who had a tv show with plenty of silly funny songs. Here they are live. Also the other half, Bret McKenzie, won an Oscar for writing the music for the new muppet movie "The Muppets". The show is filled with music and is hilarious. |
