Just received a new Terms of Use update notice, and it says:
Quote:Published July 1st, 2019. Valid on August 30th, 2019.
3. Code of conduct.
b. Imposition. If you break these Terms, we can, solely up to you, stop providing you services or terminate your account.
So that's a bad translation here or others got it too? And if I got it right, I can do illegal actions, harassment, piracy, etc and still decide to keep using MS?
Maybe MS should spend more with local lawyer offices. In the mean time, any suggestions on how to completely fuck MS while it's legal?

Thanks LZA, but that's not what I mean... Once a tech police officer here killed three MS servers with one single email. Guess it had something to do with Powershell and Outlook. He said he tried to warn MS about their "blatant lack of security" and was ignored, so...

Oh... So it's an update to terms for security issues? I obviously didn't read it... hold on...

Quote:Quote:. Code of Conduct.
- a. By agreeing to these Terms, you’re agreeing that, when using the Services, you will follow these rules:
- i. Don’t do anything illegal.
- ii. Don’t engage in any activity that exploits, harms, or threatens to harm children.
- iii. Don’t send spam. Spam is unwanted or unsolicited bulk email, postings, contact requests, SMS (text messages), or instant messages.
- iv. Don’t publicly display or use the Services to share inappropriate content or material (involving, for example, nudity, bestiality, pornography, offensive language, graphic violence, or criminal activity).
- v. Don’t engage in activity that is fraudulent, false or misleading (e.g., asking for money under false pretenses, impersonating someone else, manipulating the Services to increase play count, or affect rankings, ratings, or comments).
- vi. Don’t circumvent any restrictions on access to or availability of the Services.
- vii. Don’t engage in activity that is harmful to you, the Services or others (e.g., transmitting viruses, stalking, posting terrorist or violent extremist content, communicating hate speech, or advocating violence against others).
- viii. Don’t infringe upon the rights of others (e.g., unauthorized sharing of copyrighted music or other copyrighted material, resale or other distribution of Bing maps, or photographs).
- ix. Don’t engage in activity that violates the privacy of others.
- x. Don’t help others break these rules.
- b. Enforcement. If you violate these Terms, we may stop providing Services to you or we may close your Microsoft account. We may also block delivery of a communication (like email, file sharing or instant message) to or from the Services in an effort to enforce these Terms or we may remove or refuse to publish Your Content for any reason. When investigating alleged violations of these Terms, Microsoft reserves the right to review Your Content in order to resolve the issue. However, we cannot monitor the entire Services and make no attempt to do so.
Unless I'm missing something, these seem like standard rules of use... NOthing to do with security gaps... The only one that strikes me as possibly concerning is this one:
vii. Don’t engage in activity that is harmful to you, the Services or others (e.g., transmitting viruses, stalking, posting terrorist or violent extremist content, communicating hate speech, or advocating violence against others).
On the surface, it sounds like a sound rule, but in this changing world, and laws are turning more subjective than objective as the world is turning into a sensitive butthurtville, feeling become facts so this can open up to trouble...
For instance, I read an article where some groups are saying that Fat phobia is terrorism... The line is not drawn as to what is and isn't breaking this rule. The other thread about a black 007 can be considered hate speech if you happen to not agree... If they find out a "difference in opinion" as aopposed to a violation of rules can they cut out service?? It's sounding like the other social media platforms...
But you said security issues... If you use anything windows related, I'd say that's an ongoing issue... Even when all the gaps are filled there still may be shit out there we don;t know about, so proceed with caution... Just like everything else
