There is a certain appeal to the fact that Barry Bostwick doesn't seem to care if he looks like an idiot. Have you seen the Rifftrax for the Wonderful World of Disney musical Alladin where Barry Bostwick stars as the genie? With someone like Leslie Nielson outside of the Naked Gun movies, he always looked like he was trying way too hard to be funny but with Barry Bostwick, you can never really tell for sure whether or not he's in on the joke and knows how ridiculous he is.
