I met Catherine Mary Stewart at a show in Chicago or New Jersey. She seemed really happy to have a fan of something other than Night of the Comet or The Last Starfighter at her table. She said The Apple was her first starring role so she had no clue that anything was weird or that the movie was going to turn out like it did. The Apple had such a disastrous premier it barely got a theatrical release and she couldn't get another large role in a movie for four years. But The Apple developed a cult following when people saw it on late-night television. If you were channel surfing at 2 o'clock in the morning channel and stumbled on The Apple you definitely stopped to watch.

rewatching this was a delight.
the improved quality was a godsend.

as awful as it is... i kept thinking it was a grand spectacle.
it would be very difficult to come up with that many original songs. period.
the whole production was sparkly and get snaps for style.
a very ambitious production.

BIZARRE....
Its not something i verify because it -shouldn't be able to happen.

i have the full remux sitting on my drive. Soon the whole riff will be updated and posted.
I will try to remember to verify the film audio sync on that.
