TPB is not perfect at all.

I agree.

But that doesn't mean it needs to be changed. Or that all, or any particular, change would be good.

For me, as a uploader...nobody can edit his own torrents description except the mods, that's really bad.

For me, as a downloader (and there are many more downloaders than there are uploaders)...torrent descriptions that can be relied upon to not have changed between the time I decide to download something and the time I go back to post about it? That's really good.

If uploaders want to add/change/retract something they can do so with a torrent comment. That way everyone can see what has been added/changed/retracted, when, why, and who by. Really really good.

When I see the word design I always think of appearance.

It would be nice to see TPB change a little, perhaps an optional preference setting for a lighter or darker theme?
At the very least I would like to see the forum logo changed.

Otherwise, the site is up and it functions (mostly) the way it is meant to.

from a design pov change should be the rule. The site should be redesigned either on modern flat approach or to google material design or best of both. Also the logo needs a modern revamp and a new concept that should not be too obvious and descriptive but also not too cryptic.

"change should be the rule" is a way of saying and in fact is the exact the opposite of a rule constrain meaning nothing is too great to stay as a model for too much time and therefore becoming a rule. If you like design boredom is a rule lol
