The IRC channel has been going for years.

Join the chan on your IRC client by pasting:

/join #thepiratebay.org

or simply click on 'Chat' at the top of the page, choose your username and hit 'Connect'.

I'm on the channel and saw you joined successfully. Although you didn't type anything, you were actually on there for 4 minutes.
