I'm one twistedly weird guy

I'm strung out on 1970s police shows.    It doesn't matter that I wasn't even born yet because I've become obsesed with trying to live like it's the 1970s.

All I did was watch 1 episdoe of Starsky and Hutch.   Sadly that led to watching Charlies Angels and I got flipping hooked.

Since then I'm free basing the Rockford Files, Adam-12, Streets of San Francisco and Kojack.   I've even bought a giant poster of the 1971 moive Shaft.

It's getting worse because today I downloaded 1970s porn and I loved it.  (Normally I hate porn)

So does anyone know when they're going to invent time travel or at least some sort of virtual reality emmersion system where I can live out the rest of my life as a 1970s cop/detective?

Well, "ethics" would say that time travel is out of the question.

However, you can build a space vehicle and do a run around the sun and see if you can do just that.

Just steer clear of the temporal police.

I'm hoping that I stumble across one of those time slips.

And yes..I"ll have to be very careful of the temporal police.

The pigs were one of the few things i really hated about thr 70's. But it was only the start of the Police State.

I wouldnt go back there for no money, but it was the last period of artistic renaissance before the tide of civilisation crested, and then headed back out to sea.

A time when boys looked like girls, girls looked like girls, but boys acted like boys..

A time when medicine was bad, the drugs were good, and the CIA was just getting ramped up in Laurel Canyon.

Then you should definitely watch Cannon, yet another [serious announcer voice]Quinn Martin Production[/serious announcer voice].  Someone has been uploading full seasons of that lately.  So, so very 70s.

I wasn't a big cop/PI show fan when I was a kid, but even I regularly watched Cannon, The Rockford Files and McCloud.  I would also watch Sanford and Son with my dad.  He would laugh so hard he started to cry.  Fun times.

No, but there're some hippie communities around; they probably smell geriatric Pampers by now.
A less radical way is to look for a small county town, some keep progress at a drag, so you'll see lotta '70s trucks, houses, clothes, and even listen some music. And there'll be the old sheriff on his Caprice cruiser, if that's what you're looking for.

Besides that, you'll probably like SWAT (the series), Hawaii 5-0, and maybe The Six Billion Dollar Man.

I absolute loathe hippies.  Which includes the modern ones that are the SJWs, feminists, Democrats, etc.

But I like SWAT and I found the Bionic Woman was better than the 6 million dolllar man.
