As far as I know, no web browsers track you.
It's probably the bots that keep logs when you download or when you post like in Iran or other despotic countries. What do you guys think?

Very good reading between the lines by RobertX.
If correct, try this link. You can check more recent posts in that forum.

-Every browser has to track you unless you disable options like:
-Use Tracking Protection in Private Windows -Restrict third party cookies and other tracking data(yess, ..) from options in privacy window, until then, it`s counting that you agree to be tracked, garret. Com`n ,have to be so naive after all ...

If not, it could be PUA (Potentially Unwanted Apps, MS special).
Windows Settings ... -> Privacy & Security -> App & Browser control -> Reputation-based protection -> Settings -> Potentially unwanted app blocking (Turn off) Ref: 2) https://www.thewindowsclub.com/reputatio...windows-10 1) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...f0607f7a6e It is still good reading between the lines, Robert. From the 2 sentences written by OP, it could have been anything. You "have the extra point and keep the subject." PS: I hope OP provides closure. I find many topic creators vanish after their problem is solved without saying thank you or 'no, it didn't work for me, but thanks'.

Pretty much all web browsers track you, there's lots of servers around the world which are watching you all the time and whatever you browse on your computer is 99% being tracked. The only solution is to use TOR which is more private and then use the DuckDuckGo search engine. There's only one real answer to take back your privacy is to make sure that you block all the telemetry which I've mentioned before and that is a very personal choice which people differ from users to user. The only way is blocking it properly otherwise you are being watched even with a VPN..

Well, there are lots of browser that track you but due to privacy concern they keeps it secret such as Tor Browser, Mozilla Firefox, Vivaldi and Brave and many others.
Thanks

as this thread got bumbed, Mullvads new browser is recently the most secure browser.
Made by Mullvad (VPN) and the people from TOR and it's based on firefox. https://support.torproject.org/mullvad-b...d-browser/ https://mullvad.net/nl/browser/mullvad-browser I would stay away from any browser thats based on Chrome/Chromium, so say no to Vivaldi and Brave |
