I did it again

I lost my original account's login information.   I don't have the email or the password.

Perhaps you should just use this account for communicating in SuprBay.

Trash the other one or ask the mods to give you back the information if at all possible.

Another thing: write down your login and password information and stash it away for safekeeping.

I did but I lost the piece of paper.   Confused
I'm not joking when I tell others that I'm an idiot.

Idiot or not, just use only one account.

I'm not trying to mini-mod, but if you have too many accounts, it can create a web to get you all tangled up.

Save your data with a notepad in .nfo and record a file with random unnecessary data, then put the CD wherever you want and that's it.

That's a good idea.

No you're right but what am I supposed to do after I loose all the login information?

I kind of want the original account back.

That's smart.   I never thought of that.

Have 256kb flash drive that I got as swag at some tech show - useless for anything but a text file encrypted with RAR holds a heck of a lot of user IDs and PWs. Also convenient to throw into the safe if I am off camping for a few weeks.

Also you can use and excel spread sheet and password it, did that when I exported my links and PWs from Firefox

I'm not sure about your browser, but most browsers have saved information for logins so that you don't have to type in the login and password because it saves the inforamtion for you.

This is not the same as the website's ability to log out in without without entering the detais; what I'm talking about is the ability that the login name and password is entered, but you may still have to push the login button.

That kind of information reveals the password without the asterisks.

It's a long shot, but worth a try.

Not if you clear them, have them saved elsewhere and stop the the browser from saving after that.

Yeah, I'm paranoid, but then I worked for the NSA for four years and the CIA for two....
