How/where to reply to requests
#1
So, question of protocol. Do we reply to requests in the request thread, or answer in the upload thread quoting the request, or say in the request thread to see the upload thread? Don't want to clutter everything up, but want to retain some continuity between request and answer.

If you upload something in response to a request, then it should be a reply to the request thread.

Anything else you upload can go in your release thread, or another relevant thread.

Flipping that around: when you reply to a request it will be with a link to either:

- content you have just uploaded specifically per the request, in which case you should reply in the request thread (and you could also post in the upload thread if you particularly wanted to).

- content you (or someone else) has previously uploaded, in which case you should reply in the request thread only.
