How to rip/convert a DVD to a computer file
#1
Hello, my name is winky. I have a movie on dvd that is out of print and rare, and I want to convert it to a watchable file (MP4, WEBM, etc., etc.,) on my computer. Does not matter what kind, just so I can watch it, send it to others, save it, etc. How do I do this? Is there a particular type of software that works best or better than others? I greatly appreciate any help anyone can give, thank you very much.

Respectfully,

Winky

1. A DVD Ripper, a program that will extract the DVD's contents to a video file, namely, in this example, an MKV/MP4: www.handbrake.fr
2. A program that negates the DVD's copy protection mechanism while you rip the DVD: https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/13994795...NAL___Key_[TechTools]

Hope this helps.

I used DVD Decrypter to decrypt the movie files.
Then I converted the file to whatever video format that I wanted using AVS Video Converter.
There are multiple ways, But this way worked pretty good for me, So I hope this helps.
