The Matthew J. Elliott and Ian Potter riffs are some of my favorites, as well as those.

Me, April 16, 2017, screaming into the void known as Facebook. I stand by this early opinion:

A short, likely incomplete, list of things wrong with the new mst3k on Netflix:

1 - The bots' voices are too similar and the bots' characters are too similar

2 - It's like they're trying to wedge too many syllables into a given joke space, almost as if they don't want to step on the lines of the shitty movie they're riffing. Timing is important in humor and if you're spraying the joke out too fast it loses its impact.

3 - The show overall is not self-aware enough

4 - The bots' mouths often don't move correctly -- or at all. I don't know if this is a bad puppeteering problem or a puppet engineering problem, but it's distracting.

THIS. As a matter of fact Matthew writes on MOST of the Bridget & MJ ones. So you've probably laughed at his riffs, if you've watched theirs.
