I have one answer for you: it is that copyright, which is used to preserve credit for the artist who produced the work, is being abused for some sick game to make profit. I understand that content creators need the money to feed themselves, but right now, it's being used their protection agency to spread fear in the name of justice. That doesn't put food on the table.

Then the copyright is well............................... When it is not used in a way so greedy?. Or maybe, it would be better if fully reformed?

Not greedy? Fully-reformed? When both sides of the coin agree to hammer out a fair and transparent agreement that would very much benefit both sides. This war was started by posturing and extortion by the corporate outfits, and on top of this shit sundae, an unwillingness to adapt.

It's and interesting viewpoint.

The weird part is that file sharing is misunderstood by a wide part of the population because of spurious reasons. This situation provoke that the work required for the site to go on must be non-official, made by volunteers that use their free time.
I think TPB deserves some UNESCO prize.
TPB would be good to nominate for an award of that type hahahaha. Why do you compare a free library with TPB and her volunteers?

I believe that I neglected to answer about the question of copyright disappearing.
No, copyright must not disappear! Earlier on, I mentioned that it is used to preserve the credit of one's work. I also said that content makers deserve to feed themselves. However, there have been many ways that they can do so without the need of cornering the market.
One way is Creative Commons Licencing( http://creativecommons.org/). In this licence, you can freely share your work while making some money. When the user starts to commercialise your work, they can arrange a deal with you such that both you and the user to commercialise it.
A legally-free movie site VODO.net has accumulated a series of movies to share online with the option to pay for extras.
I urge everyone to look into these examples and decide what is good for copyright. Thank you and take care.

That's a good idea, I did not have clear information about creative commons, but looks like a great way of sharing information preserving authorship

I wasn't joking. Culture should be available to everyone for free. That's what public libraries do, and that's what TPB do. If you can't understand this maybe you should read some book and stop being so obnoxious. Some tips:

Sorry if my comment implied a sense of ridiculous to TPB and colleagues, I think that translating an idea from one language to another can change a little bit of this interpretation and I fail to adequately explain. That laugh was kind of a sign of brotherhood, fellowship or friendship, as if talking to a close friend. Please excuse me for implying a completely erroneous idea about what I think about TPB. I select TPB for my research, because I saw the opportunity to explore further the concept that many people have about the content of the page. As many see it as a place that should be closed due to copyright laws, but many more (in this group also including me a bit because of what TPB me contributed both knowledge and entertainment) see it as a site where knowledge must be shared among all so that together we can generate much more.
Again please excuse my comment and your wrong meaning, I hope you can accept my apology

Your apologies are wasted on me, sorry, I wouldn't know what to do with such a thing.
You just insist too much in all that copyright shit. If you want to ask about copyright, ask directly, maybe someone gives a shit about it.
