Have you been an anti-pirate in your life?
#11
i am old enough to tell you when first cams appear on IRC, i remember you had a channel and searched for a movie then wait your turn, i was like wtf...
then e-mule, then torrents, i was always a pirate, i like to share, upload most...and sometimes i download a movie, a mac program.
i hate the music industry...they are the greedy ones, so music is my arena...and i do all the possible to share new stuff to my fellow pirate comrades [Image: 2dlrcw2.jpg]

Never. First of all, I can't afford to buy ANYTHING because greedy capitalists want to live in opulence. Don't tell me I am somehow morally obligated to tip some "producer" for work he owes ME FIRST because I am the one who has to put up with slaving for his psychopathic hierarchical society, where cabals of oligarchs indoctrinate us with the twisted idea that somehow economic injustice is something which, though unpleasant, we must all accept as the assumed correct vision about the cosmos. Furthermore, I realised long time ago that most of those copyright whores owe to their popularity with pirates the very critical mass which allows them to be making huge sales in general. Imagine what Microsoft would do if suddenly all pirates ditched Windows for Linux; they'd start giving their OS away for free just to stay relevant! Which brings us to another piece of corporate dirt revealed: the nexus of CLOSED HARDWARE/SOFTWARE. I pay enough into those scumming bastards' monopolistic ponzy scheme already, just buying hardware that only works in some theoretical yet somehow always unattainable hardware/software combination, which ends up with me being intendly and maliciously being denied the right to use physically perfectly able hardware which I have paid and bought.

Lastly, I like to add to the list of reasons for NEVER having been anti-pirate in my life, the fact that my personal involvement in content creation never gets any credit for contributing to unearthing and disseminating obscure creations. I am a pirate by choice as I am by need. I seek an equitable world without money being at the core of everything, sharing blithely the useful and the beautiful. You may see this as thievery disguised as "benefit for all" but then again this is what AMD, Microsoft and Google do when they try to keep me hostage in a deliberately crippled computing platform, fanatically imposing their income-regimentation of the digital world. Now, take that "buy it if you like it" sign out of my face...it's blocking my view to the moneyless universe rising over the horizon!
