Having a little trouble finding a good gaming pc to buy. I generally can not find a review that will accurately tell me if a tower is good buy or the reviews will say build it yourself save ton of money. This is what I may purchase here are the specs...

Need some advice is this a good buy I am mainly looking to buy a pc for gaming, music, movies and writing?
Anyone know of a good site to purchase pcs from? I am looking to buy a gaming rig for around $2800-3500 hopefully gaming rigs for around this price can play games at their highest settings. Any advice would be appreciated. thanks

Its a good rig, at 3,000$, but you can build yourself a bit better PC with the same amount. It'll be able to play most of today's/future and past games with no problem. 16GB should be enough for any multitasking you have to do.

And with the 500$ (around there) that you didn't spent, you can use that money to upgrade your pc later down the road. Which you won't have to for the next +5 years.

ya I agree I'd go with a intel skylake CPU now days on 16GB DDR 4 ram with a nice high end board and a entry level graphic's card then when I'd get the cash if Needed i'd get a high end card and up the storage as needed hell I'd probly start out with 4TB's worth of SSD's or 1 or 2 PCIE SSD's and then smack some normal SSD's on for good measure

8 core is not really needed for gaming, you could use the extra money to buy a better gpu like 980ti, but 970 will probably handle everything you throw at it. And its usually cheaper to build the pc yourself than buying a prebuilt one.

You live? In US? The reason i´m asking is so that i can make a list of what and where to buy if you haven't bought it yet?

P.S. But you´ll have to assemble it by your self or some1 else. + for building a gaming or any rig as said above is that it´s cheaper and you´ll get a warranty for every part of it.

ddoking007 is right.. 8 cores processor is not that necessary (unless you want the PC to act like a server ) but a better GPU might be. And I think you can assamble the pieces by yourself
