Try looking at how many locations they have, and what options are available at your tier.

Using Air 3 day trial atm, will just use them all if they offer trials and decide that way.

Other than a speedtest.net and general usage/gaming (real time testing), can anyone suggest any websites or tools I can use whilst connected to VPN to do technical network testing of any sort for me so that I can log the results and compare at the end of my testing of all VPN's ?

Just for other newbies like me, gonna add my little reviews incase anyones interesting and reading

So I tried Air, as a VPN it was very good, my latency in games were only affected by 1ms, which is pretty impressive.. compared to Nord which almost doubled my latency.
Download speeds were decent, probably slowed me down by around 10%, same for upload. I think that is good for a VPN?

My only big negative, which I admit maybe an error on my knowledge but still, in terms of user friendly for beginners.. I had a massive problem with AirVPN which led me to having to do a system restore, due to its network lock feature:

If you want to disconnect from the VPN and use your connection regularly, it didnt like to do this. Even after disconnecting and disabling network lock, sometimes my internet still didnt work...
This started to stress me out so I uninstalled the Eddie / AirVPN software and the TAP Windows tool that comes with it, even with this uninstalled I still couldnt access the internet.
Weirdly everytime I restarted my computer with this uninstalled, somehow it kept opening still and giving me a shed load of error notifications which was seriously frustrating, struggling to find answers due to having no internet I had to use my phone for internet access, googled solutions which was ensuring DNS were all back to default automatic and everything, did all this and even reset the network adapter, numerous restarts..... In the end I had to system restore to before I installed it.
Unfortunately due to this, I wont be paying for AirVPN and for VPN beginners I would not recommend

On a mac AirVPN has not caused any problems with my network weather on, off or with AirVPN network lock. Maybe instead of eddie you should try openvpn with AirVPN .ovpn file.

I searched reddit for cheap shared servers. Seems seedbox.io is recommended, €5 per month for 300GB space, unlimited data and a vpn included. Add torrent to your seedbox, set ratio group to 1, then transfer file to your pc via sftp. Problem solved.

Thanks mate, so I could use that as web hosting too? I miss having my old web server that I accessed via windows FTP folder... Simple drag&drop a picture into a folder and bam, it was up online..... If I can do that as well as whatever your saying with torrents, I think I may have a winner. Will check it out definitely

You would be able to upload any file you like. Most places you can also watch media files from the server avoiding having to download anything to your pc.

Yeah I subbed up, it is strictly for torrents, still good. Just not as amazing as I thought but then at that price would have been too good to be true :Tongue I thought it was an actual dedicated box (yet shared) but you can do what you do with torrents, as well as everything else as a file server.......... which you can, except only you can download/view them as theres no way of accessing the files without username and password, was only hoping to use it for images to post on forums etc.... instead of always having to use imgbb etc

Either way, im not moaning, very thankful as I finally found the service I think is for me! SO thank you :Smile

You can add a http public directory, it would probably be a good idea not to put torrents in that directory though. Did you ask if they can add that? Looks like pulsedmedia does public directories :

Yeah, NordVPN works great for me for torrenting and not only that. And the speeds seem to be consistent most of the time.
