Of course Trump's phones etc. were bugged. As were the people in his election campaign. The NY Times has been denying that for weeks now, but they wrote an article that explicitly states that there were wiretaps.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/19/us/po...ation.html
To quote that article:
"American law enforcement and intelligence agencies are examining intercepted communications and financial transactions as part of a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials and associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump..."
I wonder what those 'intercepted communications' may be.
Also,
"The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A., and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House."
So Obama knew about it, whether he ordered it or not isn't clear, but it obviously happened. So says the NY Times. And anyone with a brain.
Wiretapping and surveillance happened, no question. Anyone who denies it goes not only against what Trump says, but also what the NY Times says.
I may add that there were no connections between the Trump campaign and the Russians found in all of those investigations.
