Assuming it is not a scam (and I'm not at all sure that is a valid assumption) you will need to install eMule and use that to open the files and subsequently download the books.

There is a link to eMule and to some tutorials at the top of that page.

I would assume that that is a scam. No solid evidence, but just look at it.
