Does TPB also receive request/order/message to remove any torrent by copyright owner?

Well, guys curiosity to ask this hatred question arises when KAT deleted my torrents (around 13) due to the request of copyright owners. Well, I feel it very discouraging & find it against pirate's rights to delete any torrent by the request of copyright owners. After all we fucked our time, bandwidth & blah blah.. for posting stuff.



So I ask,

Does TPB also receive requests/orders/messages to remove any torrent by copyright owner? If yes! then what the Admin/ S Mods/ Mods do in that case? I mean do they delete the torrent (well, I don't think) or Ignore the request/order/message?

Ok! But That's a just a half answer. I also wanted to know Does TPB deletes the torrents as well or not on copyright requests? Coz, i see "our response" tags are just few. And, I think they are quite old as well.

Torrents are deleted on the request of the uploader or if, and only if, they are fake or child porn or are malware without stating the torrent contains malware.

TPB rules must be followed. After all there are only two rules. And, I think I get my insightful answer at the bottom of above suggested page by Kingfish that says.

(we used to have a nice graph here, but it's simpler to just say: 0 torrents has been removed, and 0 torrents will ever be removed.)

I just wish that this has same value still after all those years. (that post is quite old).

TPB does not acknowledge copyright, so why would it ever remove a torrent based on that?

Yes, TPB receives takedown requests. It ignores them.

It's hard to prove a negative but think about it: TPB is a more visited site than KAT therefore it has a higher search engine ranking. So if the copyright trolls found your content on KAT they would have definitely found it on TPB. Since they obviously took steps to have it removed from KAT they would surely have taken steps to have it removed from TPB. Yet it is still on TPB. [And it will remain.]

So you tell us in, say, 2 months time, whether we've removed your torrents.

like NIK said they don't take much if almost anything down their severs are in Sweden which don't have copyright laws and doesn't follow the DMCA laws like just about everywhere else...

the Admins will know more about the laws or even those living in Sweden...

so to answer the OP no they won't take down your torrent unless it is CP(child porn) or has Malware that isn't stated in the torrent before you download and in the torrent after you get the file...
